Steam Engines

Steam Engines are normally used as the secondary propulsion system on Airships. Crystal system are considered primary propulsion on modern Airships while Wind-sails are considered old-fashioned and rarely used accept by pirates, smugglers and poor Spires.[1]

Purpose Edit

Steam propellers or the new Screw-like turbines are the preferred means of propelling an Airship when a ship dropped out of the Aerosphere or found themselves in some part of he sky without etheric currents.[2]

Drawback Edit

Steam engines are heavy and bulky—and noisy.
